Today is Palm Sunday, the launch of Holy Week and by worshiping with us on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter you can experience a glimpse of what Jesus and his early followers went through.
The Lord shows us the depth to which He is willing to go which shows us how much He loves us. The Easter Triduum is a way we honor the Lord’s sacrifice. If you’ve never participated in the Easter Triduum, take time this year to make it a priority. Through scripture, music and dynamic preaching you will step back in time and prayerfully feel as if you, yourself are on the journey with Jesus’ passion, death, and resurrection.
Many people say the Mass of the Lord’s Supper is their favorite celebration of the year. Come see for yourself (and bring a loved one along with you).
Per the USCCB.org:
The summit of the Liturgical Year is the Easter Triduum—from the evening of Holy Thursday to the evening of Easter Sunday. Though chronologically three days, they are liturgically one celebration unfolding for us the unity of Christ’s Paschal Mystery.
The single celebration of the Triduum marks the end of the Lenten season, and leads to the Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord at the Easter Vigil.
The liturgical services that take place during the Triduum are:
- Mass of the Lord’s Supper
- Good Friday of the Lord’s Passion
- Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord

Hoy es Domingo de Ramos, el lanzamiento de la Semana Santa y al adorar con nosotros el Jueves Santo, el Viernes Santo y la Pascua, puedes experimentar un vistazo de lo que Jesús y sus primeros seguidores pasaron.
El Señor nos muestra la profundidad a la que está dispuesto a llegar, lo que nos muestra cuánto nos ama. El Triduo Pascual es una forma de honrar el sacrificio del Señor. Si nunca has participado en el Triduo Pascual, tómate un tiempo este año para convertirlo en una prioridad. A través de las Escrituras, la música y la predicación dinámica, retrocederás en el tiempo y sentirás en oración como si tú mismo estuvieras en el viaje con la pasión, muerte y resurrección de Jesús.
Muchas personas dicen que la Misa de la Cena del Señor es su celebración favorita del año. Ven a verlo por ti mismo (y trae a un ser querido contigo).
Según el USCCB.org:
La cumbre del Año Litúrgico es el Triduo Pascual— desde la tarde del Jueves Santo hasta la tarde del Domingo de Resurrección. Aunque cronológicamente son tres días, litúrgicamente son una celebración que revela para nosotros la unidad del Misterio Pascual de Cristo.
La única celebración del Triduo marca el final del tiempo de Cuaresma y conduce a la Misa de la Resurrección del Señor en la Vigilia Pascual.
Los servicios litúrgicos que tienen lugar durante el Triduo son:
- Misa de la Cena del Señor
- Viernes Santo de la Pasión del Señor
- Misa de la Resurrección del Señor
