Love Never Fails

Lent is a time where we journey with Christ through the desert and see His love shown in many ways. This Lent we’re journeying together as the Disciples Unleashed Family of Parishes to unite in God’s love. 

In a world that can be filled with pain, hardships, and challenges, Christ is there to walk with us, guide us, and lift us up. Lent is the perfect time to come together… to journey together… to see God’s love in different ways. 

We’ve crafted three events at our parishes to do just that: A worship event that shows God’s love from the cross, a service event where we can come together to show God’s love for others, and a fun family event to show how God’s love works through our families.

Summary

Three Main Events

  • Worship: Love From the Cross. Come and experience the Stations of the Cross in a modern adaptation through introspective prayer, short narratives, and song that will lead you through the steps of Christ’s Passion and to experience His Love in a special way.

  • Service: Desert Angels Program Join us in collecting and packaging items to boost morale and encourage our soldiers who are serving overseas.

    Let’s work together to send God’s love across the world to our men and women overseas.

  • Family: Easter Egg Hunts. Bring your baskets and cameras and have some fun. We will have breakfast or lunch (depending on which you attend), as well as crafts and games at both locations
